Deborah Margosian Chapman, daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Margosian, found herself unusually tired a few months ago. Why are we setting up a website for Debbi?
Because 10,000 transplant patients need a match and only half receive one. Armenians and other ethnic minorities have an even harder time finding a donor, but it's not impossible.
We've had a number of bone marrow drives, including in Armenia, Lebanon, Watertown and RI and we'll be having more. If you haven't yet registered, please do so now! You can get a cheek swab kit mailed to your home at no cost to you.
